Afterwards we will continue along Nádražní Street and T.G.Masaryk Avenue to Komenský Park. There is admirable late renaissance Church of Saint Jošt with a wooden belfry from year 1791.
Near the church across the avenue are situated new-renaissance school buildings. Behind the bust of T. G. Masaryk is former German gymnasium from year 1903 ? presently a high-school. Four years earlier was built German secondary school beside ? nowadays called the Bezruč school. From that point is visible brick tower of the Church of Saint John the Baptist. At its background we can see the original town fortifications. For a longer stay we reccomend Zámecké Square with a number of significant burgher-houses and Renaissance Frýdek Castle with the Beskydy Museum. By the church we cross the street and follow Čejky Street towards Malý Park. On the edge of the park is situated Church of All Saints, built in the beggining of the 18th century. Few steps from the church spreads Svobody Square with 8-metre Marian Column, burgher-houses and arcades.
