The Lysá hora nature trail is 16.5 km long, has a total of 15 stops and two information boards at the meteorological station at the top. You can reach the trail at two locations ? from the train station in Ostravice and from Malenovice at the parking lot for the hotel Rajská bouda (?Paradise Point?).

Both access points eventually link up along the Lukšince Ridge and continue on up to the top. That?s why if you would like to see every stop, you should plan your excursion from one village, go to the top, then make your way back down to the other village. The nature trail is clearly marked, with red markings leading from Ostravice to the top, and yellow markings from Malenovice to Lukšinece Ridge. The trail is quite demanding, with a vertical distance of about 800 meters and requiring anywhere from 4 to 6 hours (without trekking through snow). It is meant mostly for hikers! Visitors will get to know about the brigand known as Ondráš, about his caves and treasures, about how the wilderness here used to look, and about what grows and lives here and why.
