Primaeval forest Mionší belongs to the most famous reservations in Beskydy and is one of the biggest primaeval forests in Czech republic. It is placed on the mountain ridge and its surrouding steep grades of mountain Úplaz (949,6 m) and Velká Polana (893 m), between villages Dolní Lomná and Horní Lomná, about 1 km eastern from middle of the Horní Lomná.

A walking trip round Frýdek-Místek

You will see interesting sights and history at the fine walk round the town.Let´s start our walk at the Frýdek-Místek railway station built at the end of 19th century. Afterwards we will continue along Nádražní Street and T.G.Masaryk Avenue to Komenský Park. There is admirable late renaissance Church of Saint Jošt with a wooden belfry from year 1791.

The Lysá hora nature trail is 16.5 km long, has a total of 15 stops and two information boards at the meteorological station at the top. You can reach the trail at two locations from the train station in Ostravice and from Malenovice at the parking lot for the hotel Rajská bouda (Paradise Point).
