A single-aisle building was originally situated as a dominant of the landscape freely on the ridge and was well visible from distance. Nowadays, it is mostly hidden among full-grown trees. As other churches, it was not saved from insensitive interference during repairs in the post-war period. Maybe purposeful, but not original sheet metal roofing including the pyramidal tower, took off the original beauty of the all-wooden mountain church. We can only hope that we will live to see it put into the original state of roofing by wooden shingles as with similarly affected churches in Nýdek or Bystřice nad Olší.
