* Lunch break: 12:30-13:00The castle is located not far from Frýdek-Místek and consists today of the rooms of a Gothic castle that was built between the years 1257 and 1285. The castle is surrounded by a game reserve that is often the destination of visitors to the birthplace of composer Leoš Janáček (1854-1928). Mufflon and fallow deer can often be seen in the reserve. Hukvaldy is a major cultural landmark and plays host every year to various events like the Knights Pageantry, Meeting of Spirits and many others. Frýdek Castle was originally a Silesian outpost built on the site of an older stronghold in the middle of the 14th century at the behest of the aristocratic Piastovec clan of Těšín.
