The Beskydy Information Center Frýdek-Místek was founded by the city of Frýdek-Místek in 1999 with the intent of subsisting off contributions. It serves as a regional agency for providing tourist information and services. It serves as guide and consultant for tourists coming to the Beskydy region. The Beskydy Information Center also works on a contractual basis with many communities, cities and entities working in the tourist trade throughout the Beskydy region. It provides tourist information services for them in the region, promotes its partners at exhibitions and trade fairs for tourism at home and abroad, provides advice for programs of the European Union, and processes and implements development projects involving tourism.

The purpose of the Beskydy Information Center is to provide information about:

• Frýdek-Místek, Frýdlant n. O. and their surroundings
• cultural venues and their programs
• accommodations and restaurants
• transportation connections
• recreational possibilities in the Beskydy
• hiking and cycling
• events being held in the city and surroundings
• government offices and institutions

• selling souvenirs with a Beskydy theme
• selling tickets to selected cultural and sporting events
• TICKETPRO
• copy services

We furthermore offer you:

• suggestions for your stay in the tourist portion of the Beskydy region according to your wishes
• expert advice on the suitability of your project?s goals in relationship to the principles of the specific title in question
• preparing regional and local marketing research in the CR, including suggesting a development strategy
• providing promotion, preparing and making promotional material
